Mmmmm... I LOVE funnel cake. And cotton candy - it doesn't get much better than pure sugar.
I have to say, though, that realizing that you can't have cotton candy any time you want really makes me grateful that I can. I need a reminder from time to time to count my blessings.
I'm so sorry that you've had to deal with diabetes for so long. How exciting that a possible cure is on the horizon! If the day comes, I'm sure sugar will taste sweeter to you than to anyone else.
